After ten years of conducting user testing--working with design teams in educational technology industry, I moved into the design role in 2000. This deep understanding of users and how people learn using technology has greatly informed my user experience design work.

As Senior Site Architect for Cyberplex, I lead project designs for large corporate clients such as AMD and Charles Schwab. In 2002, I began working as an independent consultant developing technology solutions for small to large companies.

Since 2004, my design work as an independent consultant has focused on web-based applications for companies that serve the education market (K-12 and college). Many projects had an LMS or content management component. I work on various stages of projects including designing them from scratch, targeted improvements, temporary prototypes, as well as complete redesign of existing applications. My clients include Houghton-Mifflin, Kaplan, and Cengage Learning.
